First Work Day – March 2026

1. Clocking in

Clock‑in screen

I started the shift by clocking in at the front computer, making sure my badge scanned properly and the schedule matched what I was expecting for the day.
This is the screen I see every morning before heading onto the floor.

2. Garbage run

Garbage area

Early in the shift I walked the main aisles and break areas, gathering bags of garbage and recycling that had piled up overnight.
This photo shows the carts and bags lined up before I sorted and compacted everything.

3. Cleaning the bathroom stalls

Bathroom stalls

Mid‑shift I moved to the bathrooms, wiping down stall doors, scrubbing toilets, and restocking paper products and soap.
Keeping this area clean makes a big difference for everyone using the space during busy hours.

4. Around the compactor

Before Compactor area

Later I focused on the compactor area, sweeping loose debris, moving stray pallets, and making sure nothing blocked the safety zones.
This is usually one of the messiest parts of the job, but it feels satisfying once everything is cleared.

5. A quiet corner of the floor

Quiet corner

I took a moment to photograph a quieter corner of the workspace where tools and supplies were already neatly organized.
It’s a good contrast to the busier, cluttered spots I tackle during the day.

6. Break time snapshot

Break area

During my short break I grabbed this shot of the break area before people came in.
I took time to wipe down the microwaves and clean up spills, making sure the space was fresh for the next person.
It's where I usually sit, check messages, and reset before going back to cleaning and floor checks.

7. End‑of‑shift walkthrough

End of shift aisle

Near the end of the shift I did a final walkthrough of the main aisles, checking for spills, loose boxes, or anything blocking traffic.
This photo shows one of the aisles after everything was cleared and swept.

8. Wrapping up the day

End of day view

Before clocking out I took one last picture looking back over the area I had worked on most of the day.
It’s a small way to remember what the space looked like after a full shift of cleaning and organizing.
